yarascanservice using 100gb of memory..

I just updated to 10.13.6 tonight.

After rebooting, I got a warning from cleanmymac that I was running out of memory.

I got into Activity Monitor and found yarascanservice using 99gb - then to 100gb before I Force Quit the application.

I just wanted to notify that there may be a memory problem with this application/service.

Thank you,

Myrhillion

This is most definitely not solved, and it most definitely does not run once and delete itself. It scans the same files over and over and over again, in the most resource unfriendly way possible. I live off the grid, my only electricity is solar panels. Scanning the same files repeatedly is killing all of my batteries. So much for Apple being a green company and vaguely caring about customer issues since Jobs passed.
