Sling TV App Not Launching

After I performed an update on 7/22/18, to my Apple TV v4, Sling TV no longer launches. It tries for two seconds then defaults to main apps screen. Already tried reinstalling, force closing, even hard reset and then reinstalled app. Still crashes. Help.

Sling TV going black when trying to watch a recorded program I have an AppleTV 4th gen and just signed up for SlingTV. When trying to play back a program recorded to the cloud, the show will start and about 1 minute later the screen will go black and freeze. I then navigate back to the menu screen and have restarted the AppleTV gone back into Sling watched another channel verify its working yet, going back to the show I was trying to watch from the cloud the same issue occurs, Screen goes black, freezes, need to reboot AppleTV. We have 1gig internet speed, so we are well above the minimum requirements and NO other devices are in use while trying to watch TV, so there are no interruptions that could be causing a slow down in that arena. Has anyone else experienced this issue with Sling? Is there an issue with playback from the cloud? Any ideas? Trying to go strictly streaming but its not going well! HELP!!!! Thanks in advance!

Sling TV will not run on Apple TV I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app and I still get pixelating and buffering pauses. I can run the app on my MacBook and all is well. Sling says network to crowded, etc. Not the case, it simply will not run on my Apple TV. Any other suggestions from anyone.

APPLE TV & APPS LAGGING/NOT LOADING A lot of apps are lagging on Apple TV4K. Everything is updated, decent internet signal/connection/speed (65-70mbps), restarted system, etc. but ATV and all the apps haven’t been responding well in the past few weeks. Can I clear the cache without having to delete/reinstall each app and lose my users, watchlist, up next, continue watching, etc. info? Prime and HBOMAX are the worst - I deleted/reinstalled them to no avail. Any other fixes out there I can try?

I chatted online with a Slingtv red 3 days ago due to this problem and they said it was being looked at! No resolution to date.

Then you would need to persist and encourage other users to do the same.

That would be an issue with the app, which the developer needs to fix. You can always try contacting them to give feedback
