Hi,
Recently, the preview app on my 2016 MacBook Pro 10.13.6 has stopped working. Any time I try to open it, either directly or by clicking on a PDF, it displays "Preview" at the top left menu for a second, then disappears. Nothing opens. Then, I get an error "Preview unexpectedly quit" with options to re-open, ignore, or report issue.
Any ideas?

There is no stand alone Preview.app to reinstall. You can try reinstalling the combo update on top of your existing macOS
Unfortunately, that did not fix the problem. Any other ideas?
