I can’t FaceTime my dad

I can’t FaceTime my dad I use to do it earlier just by going on to his contact in my favourites but now when I open his contact the option of FaceTime is missing in all my other contacts there is no issue and they all have the FaceTime option

So I bought my Mom an iPhone we can FaceTime bbut when I bring up her contact there is no icon the video or FaceTime calis that a problem with my phone or her pho I bought my mother a iPhone Xr so we can FaceTime which is not a problem but when I bring up her contact there is no FaceTime icon or at least it’s not blue so I can’t click on it, My daughter said when she clicks on her contact info it’s the same problem so I’m assuming it’s with my mom’s new phone what do I need to tell her to fix this problem?

FaceTime not showing on a Contact From my iPad or iPhone I used to be able to initiate a FaceTime call with my son who has an iPad but NOT an iPhone. I can no longer do this and yet “Video” is not greyed out on his contact. There is no “Add FaceTime” in his contact details either. When he calls me, I click on the green “accept” button but the screen immediately goes black with just his initials shown centre screen in a 🟢 and I can’t connect. What could have changed?

Connecting with new FaceTime user My dad made her first FaceTime call to me from iPad. Success. I then tried to FaceTime him back from my iPad but his contact shows no video. I tried entering his email in the FaceTime add contact, but the audio and video were greyed out. Any suggestions? Thanks.

If you're sure that your dad's iphone is properly configured to receive a FaceTime call, delete his contact.

Then restart your iphone.

Add his contact again, and see if the FaceTime icon comes back.
