New IMac user here, wound up inadvertently installing "MacShiny". I was able to move the app to the trash; but I cannot get that pesky blue icon off my menu bar... can't hold command and drag... it just won't go away. Feels like a virus. Help:~
iMac, macOS High Sierra (10.13.6), 10.18.2
The icon still hangs around though, sadly.
If that is true then it sounds like it is time to erase and reinstall.
