unbelievable that we don't have the option to turn off two factor. I had no idea all the places (such as simply ordering a movie) this would interrupt work and play. Let us decide how to best use our system. This is NOT customer friendly in any way. Big brother does not know best.
An extra step is taken from the common routine. This is noticed by using the Roku/Geenie Apps.

We should decide whether or not we want to use it. Big brother is watching too closely.......
Well of course you can access it-the point is: we should be able to remove it if we want to!! Why are we forced to keep such and inconvenience!
Can't you get rid of it by making a new Apple ID, quit using the current Apple ID, then never signup for 2FA on the new ID???
I believe you’d find that all new AppleIDs for quite some time now are created with 2FA enabled by default and it cannot be deactivated.
