Hi all - when I installed iOS12 on my devices I got a notification that iMessage conversations coming from or to a specific person would be merged into one single conversation thread, if they were seperated.
I did not observe that this happened - I still have several iMessage conversation threads from the same Person. So nothing has changed. Does this work for someone else?

Having very similar problem. Since updating when I try to text my son it goes to my wife’s text history. If I go to his contact and select text it immediately switches to my wifes number. He can however text me
Yes, so annoying. The only way to avoid the problem at this point would be if Apple let us downgrade our iOS’s back to iOS 11 or earlier, and we know that ain’t gonna happen!

Same here. Terribly frustrating and maddening. Please Apple, fix this problem. This is poor customer service.
We had to switch to WhatsApp to message the family....VERY UNHAPPY ABOUT THIS ... love Apple but this is making us think...
