Hi everyone, I have a MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Mid 2014). I'm currently using High Sierra and when I go to the App Store and download Mojave, it downloads and then disappears shortly after and briefly shows the question mark over the application as if the application cannot be found. This also happened with the Mojave Beta but I figured it was just a beta and that was probably a problem from it.

Hey man. Yes.
From many different suggestions, I booted my os into Safe mood & carried on a download which successfully installs the mojave!
Enjoy!

If it downloaded successfully it will be in your Applications folder: " Install macOS Mojave.app"
You need to stop the installation from proceeding at first in order to copy the installer package to another location on your hard drive. After installation the installer is deleted by the process.
I'm sorry, but why would you have to put your computer into recovery mode to install a new mac OS? Also why are users installation files (including myself) disappearing after downloading??? (6GB + of install files!) This isn't good enough! I expect to be able to download and install a new OS seamlessly. Apple, do you not have a better solution than putting the mac book into a recovery mode?
I know, but it isn't there and if I spotlight search or search in all my files it doesn't appear.

I experienced the same issue.
It downloaded fully twice and disappeared.
The second time, it disappeared after half way of the macOS download.
ANy leads to resolve this would be helpful.

Downloaded two times (6,02GB), but it disappears, cant find it anywhere! - In the app. menu is only a small macOS Mojave app. download, 373kb file left over.
