Is anyone else having an issue with their iPhone XS Max taking forever to charge? My old iPhone 7 charged super quick, but this one takes hours to go from 20% to 100%. I’ve restarted it twice and used low battery mode, but nothing seems to help. I just got my phone on Friday, 9/21, and have had this issue since the first day (and, yes, my software is up-to-date).

I have found an alternative. Using the iPad 2.1 amp charger instead of the 1.0 amp wall charger they provide. I have also upgraded to a 2.1 amp juice in car charger lol. More reasons to spend more money on apples products.. not acceptable for the price though I suppose it should be included.
I purchased iPhone Xs Max two weeks ago, it's very really sad thing that iPhone is taking 3 to 4 hours to charge the battery. It's hurting now. I paid 597 rial and battery is ******* dead slow. Is this any chance that Apple will solve this issue or shall I switch to andorid phone.
The thing is I charged twice since I bought him, but the second time I still had 10%, next time I will live it until it will go off and I will try to see how it is
I have the same problem. I have XS Max and it takes hours to charge the phone. My old iPhone 7 used to charge quick but the XS Max takes too much time.
I know! It's so annoying... I think I'm going to run it flat and see it it will improve.
I didnt know why this is not addressed and I too have uphone 7 plus which charge soon and upgraded and feelinng bad. Taking too long to charge
But 4 to 5 hours from 30% to 100% is too much

I am also disappointed with this phone for slow charging too. It takes almost 3 hours hours to charge.

YOU DO NOT NEED USB-C TO FAST CHARGE THE IPHONE 10S MAX!!!!!
Solve what problem? That's how long it takes with the included charger. Works great for me because I only charge while I am sleeping at night. If you need faster, you can buy the necessary equipment to do so.
Hey there, same thing is happening to my XS max. There is a fix to this if you have a Mac, as I found that charging my new phone on the Mac makes charging faster. Still slow, but faster.
