Hi everyone,
I talked to Apple Support on Twitter this day and I think we’ve finally fixed it. I copy/paste their exact words below:
“This is a step we'd like to walk you through. Please boot back into the macOS Recovery partition. From the Utilities window that opens, choose Terminal. Type in the following command and then press Return. Be mindful of the space between nvram and the beginning of the rest of the command. nvram 8be4df61-93ca-11d2-aa0d-00e098032b8c:epid_provisioned=%01%00%00%00 Once entered and you've pressed Return on your keyboard, quit Terminal, restart your Mac and test”
(You get into Recovery Partition by holding Command + R just after you hit your power button at startup. Then enter Terminal somewhere via the menu in the upper part of the screen.)
So I did this exact thing. Then told them it worked, but that I was wondering what I just did. This was there answer:
“You reset the NVRAM, internally. From this point forward, anytime you need to reset the NVRAM it will have to be done with this command.”
Let me know if this worked for you as well!
