iOS 12 battery drain too painful

I’m now 6 days with IOS 12 on an iPhone 6 with new (95%) battery.

I‘m losing 10% per hour with no usage and every conceivable culprit turned off. So much so that Low Power mode makes no difference.

I understand “indexing” after an update but this day 6!

So how is a devise usable at any price if a new battery won’t last through the day WITHOUT EVEN BEING USED?

After 10 years I’m done with Apple and the forever battery problems.

Sure the products are nice but if we are all walking around with numerous features turned off due to battery life WHATS THE POINT?

I see the usage stats.

they just don’t make any sense,

100% battery usage with about 1h screen on use, continuous drain with no usage as well.

Tap on Show Battery Usage to change that to percentages. Settings should not be that high unless you were using it a lot.

Settings is high because I keep watching the battery deplete and try to figure it out, and using little else

Thank you for these latest screenshots. everything you are using uses battery more than some of the other apps.

Not sure what you mean by Safari too high.

It is 14 m last 24 hrs, 2 hrs last 8 days.

Did you replace the battery at an Apple Store in the past 90 days? If yes make a Genius Bar appointment and have them run diagnostics on your iPhone.
