iCloud Windows 10 Authentication Error!

I can't sign into iCloud Windows app on Windows 10 pc. If I open iCloud app on windows 10, it asks me for my icloud ID/password, so I enter it and it loads for a long time, then says "An error occurred during authentication. Please try again." I have tried uninstalling then reinstalling the iCloud app and restarting my computer and still it doesn't work when I try to log in, I get the same message. I have also tried changing iCloud passwords. I just want to be able to access my files from iCloud Drive through my PC without going to the online icloud.com app (which works fine, and iCloud on Mac and iPhone works fine too).

This is very frustrating. Other people have had this problem as well, and no one from Apple support has gotten back to us or even replied with a solution. (Icloud Windows 10 App Authentication error - no response)
