high sierra keychain not syncing

I'm getting really tired of this. keychain passwords are not syncing to my mac mini. i did what apple says to do. turned off keychain on all my devices not keeping the data except on my imac, then turn it back on on the imac first, then the others. now i have no passwords on my mini at all, and it's not syncing. can i force it to sync?

iCloud Keychain will not sync down to macOS Late 2009 iMac, macOS High Sierra 10.13.6 As of roughly 1 month ago, my Mac no longer seems to correctly pull passwords and saved information from my keychain down from iCloud. This first became apparent when after some system update (sadly I did not document which one), Safari no longer showed any stored passwords. All passwords saved/updated on my iMac are indeed seen by my other iCloud connected devices (iPhone 6s, iPhone 8, last year's low end iPad); however passwords saved/updated on those devices are not seen on the iMac. Also, my iCloud keychain in Keychain Access does not appear to pull down from iCloud, but this is less clear to me. Is anyone aware of a fix for this? Any thoughts? (Before anyone asks, I am aware my 2009 iMac is no longer supported by Apple.)

Is there anyway to sync my new used MBP 2011 running High Sierra with my Catalina Keychain? Is there any way to sync my newly-purchased used MBP 2011 running High Sierra with my Catalina Keychain? I also have an iPad Pro and an iPhone XR. Every time I try to turn on Keychain sync on the MBP I get an error. Any ideas? I have searched for hours for a solution to this and came up with nothing. TIA!

MacOS Big Sur and iOS15: Keychain not Syncing I have an older MacBook Pro that I can't update to Monterey and an iPhone 13. I am leaving 1Password and am adding passwords to Safari on my MacBook. These aren't showing up on my phone, is this because my computer is on Big Sur? Frustrating if so, I have no need to buy a new computer. Guess I might be looking into a different password manager if iCloud Keychain won't sync with an older, but perfectly fine MacBook Pro.

If you unchecked the sync box in System Preferences/iCloud, have you tried signing out of iCloud and back in. I would do that on the mini first.

do i keep copies on the computer or delete. i have found in the past with things like contacts, that i end up with duplicates.

Things should sync back. Keeping a copy on the computer is sort of a backup, which if things work as they are supposed to, isn't required.
