I keep getting called by Apple Support. Is it valid?

I keep getting calls from some foreign people saying they are from Apple Support. The phone # is 1(800)694-7466. I get several calls from them first saying my IP address has been compromised. Now, I get a recorded message saying my iCloud has been compromised. Is this true? I did call back yesterday, and the person wanted to share my screen.

Please reply soon as I keep getting called by them.

Sincerely,

Beth Voss

Apple will never initiate contact with you. It is phishing. In a message Apple will always address you by your real name, never by your email address or Dear Customer. Also the sent-from address should be @apple.com or @itunes.com Additionally Apple does not send attachments.

Avoid phishing emails, fake 'virus' alerts, phony support calls, and other scams - Apple Support
