Cant turn off my iPhone - Not shown on Force Quit

I have been installing the IOS for my iPhone 6 and it pops up with an error (14). I am then promoted to update my phone and I won'y lose my apps and general contents especially my phone numbers. I did that and it won't action. I then see that its best to restart (quit iTunes),my computer and phone. It won't do that either. All I have now if is my mobile is stuck during the installation of the new IOS. Cant do anything because The phone is locked into this update mode displaying a connection cable to advise me to connect the phone into iTunes.

Is there anyway I can shut down and have a clean restart of the phone without losing content.

Hope there's some good news out there?

Thanks in advance

Barry

No, sorry. If you are seeing the Connect to iTunes screen, you have to erase your device to get out of Recovery mode. Follow the set of instructions in this support article that best meets your needs: If you see the Connect to iTunes, or you forgot your passcode, or your device is disabled - Apple Support.

If you have an iTunes or iCloud backup, you can restore your device to that backup once you complete the steps in the support article and get your device erased:

Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch from a backup - Apple Support

Best of luck,
