XS Max screen easy to scratch

To be honest, given the Reddit threads I linked above, it seems no more scratch-prone than other premium smartphones on the market today.

It would be speculation to even guess at what Apple has coming up in future designs.

My baby Xs Max is injured within 15days of service. I dont know how it got scratched. I cared it a lot. I don’t prefer using screen gaurd and body cover thinking of I can trust this device. I am first time apple user . And my experience is good with its performance but it hurt when I look into to my scratch in screen.

Is this issue is with me or all facing it ?

Modern automotive paint finishes are more susceptible to scratching than paints used in the past but auto makers don't mention it.

"Blotches" seem abnormal and you might want to have your phone looked at.

Mine continues to pick up scratches. At this point I’m going to let it get bad enough to where i can justify using one of my claims to replace the screen. Very disappointed.

I've had my XS Max for less than 24 hours and it already has a scratch. I've never used a screencover and never had an issue before. It's crazy how easy something so expensive scratches.

Same problem with mine very soft screen and a lots of scratches I’m thinking to give back to them and get replace that’s shocking fro $2000 phone

Take it with humor. If you don’t want scratches on your Xs screen:

-You should’t put your iPhone Xs in any pocket (just look at mine!)

-You should’t put in on a surface (there may be salt grains or other dust)

-You should’t wipe it with a cloth or your hand (micro-scratches!)

-Try to avoid looking at it, it may scratch :-)

Best way to avoid scratches: Keep your Xs in the sealed packaging to carry it around.

My new iPhone XS Max also has many hairline scratches. I’ve been super careful with it as anyone would when they get a new phone. My sister and I both have the same problem and it’s bothering me a lot. Why is the screen being like this 😭 i hope apple can help out or smth.

I’ve never posted on this forum before. I’ve had iPhones since the 3GS. My iPhone XS Max is the most expensive phone I’ve ever had and it is getting scratched in my pocket. This didnt happen with any previous phone. Can I take it in for an iPhone X screen replacement? XS is not tough enough.

My phone XS max has scratched much worse in 2 weeks than my iPhone X did in the year I had it. I am very frustrated by this - and I have a case on my phone. Is there anything apple will do since this phone is so new?

I also have scratches on my xs max and the phone has been babied since day 1, my 7plus never had a single scratch in its live and I owned it from release day as well.
