Then that page isn't relevant to you. So you are saying when you connect your CarPlay cable to your iPhone 6s that CarPlay does not work but if you use other iPhones it does?

That's correct. There is no CarPlay app. Either a car has CarPlay or it doesn't. If it does, when you connect the iPhone via USB CarPlay should appear in the car head unit. From car to car however, how they actually connect varies. The OP should read their car manual for directions if the car supports CarPlay.

Correct. Siri is on too. I took it to the dealership and it is not the ports or cable I am using. I am able to use CarPlay in other cars with my phone
Thanks. So much for trying to help. My phone works in other cars and other peoples phones work in mine so we know it’s not a port. I will make an genius appt
I can’t get my CarPlay to work with my iPhone 6s Plus. There are no restrictions on but CarPlay doesn’t show up in the allowed app list. When I do click on CarPlay the allowed car list never shows up
