Apple Broadcom Built-In Bluetooth Missing From Device Manager

I have installed Windows 10 Home on bootcamp. My apple magic mouse / bluetooth mouse is not working. I have opened Device Manager and navigated to the Bluetooth section. I believe there is supposed to be a bluetooth device listed called Apple Broadcom Built-In Bluetooth. There is no such entry. I have downloaded the windows support software from Bootcamp Assistant. I have navigated to the folder called AppleBluetoothBroadcom64. I have run the program called Dpinst. The installation program claims it installed Apple Inc. Apple Broadcom Bluetooth. The installation program says there was an error installing _applebtbc.inf There is still no entry in the Windows Device Manager under Bluetooth for Apple Broadcom Built-In Bluetooth. Please advise how to fix this. I have already tried a complete reinstall of windows bootcamp,

null-OTHER, Windows 10, null

Yes, it is a new installation of windows. The Bluetooth in windows had stopped working without any explanation after having worked for months and months. I had recently upgraded to Mohave, but I don’t know if that was the cause although there appears to be speculation it was.

After days of trying to solve the problem to no avail, I simply re-install windows in Boot Camp. That did not solve the problem, and so here I am.
