Update Apple Id Settings

On my Iphone 8 Running Ios 12.1, in settings Under my icloud settings it says "Update Apple ID Settings" I click on that and then I hit continue, when I hit continue it asks me to log in using an email that is no longer associated with my Apple ID or any other apple ID. (This Email used to be my apple ID's secondary email, it is no longer as I deleted it a few months ago) This issue arose when I changed my apple ID password, I have tried logging in and out of my icloud.
