iphone 8 lightning cable pops out

iphone 8 lightning cable pops out, worked fine until Sunday night, at first I thought it was that the phone was over 80% charge, but still not connecting.

I have looked into the charging port with a magnifying glass and found no dirt or obstructions, cable did not appear to be damaged.

Hi mdenico,

Thanks so much for using Apple Support Communities. If I understand your post correctly you're noticing the lightning cable is not staying firmly connected to your iPhone 8.

Do you happen to have another cable to charge your device and does this continue to happen?

Also, are you getting an alert that your accessory isn't supported or certified? If so check out the following article that goes over what to do when you receive that message? I hope you find this helpful.

If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won't charge

If you're still experiencing this issue you can take your take your device and charging cable to an Apple Retail Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider for evaluation.

I hope you find this helpful.

Best regards.
