On my iPad Pro 10.5, the "Only Draw With Apple Pencil" setting for the Notes app doesn't work - even when it's set my fingers are interpreted by Notes as drawing strokes. How can I fix this?
I'm using iOS 12.1. Thanks in advance!

Thanks so much for your reply - however what I find is that, while my fingers are not detected while the Pencil is in contact with the iPad's display surface, as soon as I lift the Pencil from the surface my fingers are detected once again.
So, I don't see the behavior you're describing - is there anything else I can do?

However, if you set your Apple Pencil down, your iPad will start detecting your fingers to draw. It will only ignore your fingers or palm when you're holding up your Apple Pencil as if ready to write.*When your Apple Pencil is connected to your iPad, only the pencil can be used to draw. Your fingers can be used for scrolling. To change these settings, go to Settings > Notes > Only Draw with Apple Pencil.
