Bluetooth not working properly on windows 10 using bootcamp.

Same issue, I (and a lot of people) have this problem since always and apple won't do anyhting to fix it. I have looked everywhere for solutions and none of them work, and when the do they just keep working for a short period of time (could be days, could be months).

We need apple to do something for this driver problem.

In case anyone have a magic solution I would really appreciate it.

I'm really frustrated with the way windows runs on mac, almost in every aspect there is a problem. I kind of regret buying this computer. Support is really lame and MBP are quite expensive if you compare them with the competition, I don't think they are worth it.

I'm using a MacBook Pro late 2016 with Mojave OS

Exactly, I was the ping-pong ball.

Just one question, I looked up pnputil and I understand it's command to delete drivers from the system. In the syntax I'm reading I will need to provide the exact name for the drivers (AAAAA.inf) . Do you happen to know which one of them do I need to delete?

After that I understand I will need to re-install the package WindowsSupport that can be downloaded from boot camp assistant in MAC side. Am I right?

Thank you.

Hey!

So, I decided (instead of starting to uninstall drivers with pnputil and so) to re-install windows 10 altogether.

That being said I installed the whole package of drivers provided by apple (via boot camp) but for the bluetooth drivers I stil have this "Bluetooth Radio" which has Microsoft as manufacturer. I tried to change the driver going to the "Let me pick...." option and could found de Apple Broadcom Built-in bluetooth driver that you have but in my computer it is listed as no compatible (I had to uncheck the box that says "show only compatible software" to get to it). When I install that I get an error "Code 10".

I'm stuick with this, I also tried going to Apple Software Updater but there is nothing there....

Hello!

Well, I reinstalled the software OS all over again, more than one time actually. In my last attemp I even downloaded the same Windows version that you have (update 1709, instead of the default update 1809).

Each time I dissabled Windows Update before I connected to wifi, and turned off Windows Defender before I started installing Boot Camp drivers.

In the end, after installing all compatibility software I got to the same point every time: bluetooth driver installed are Microdoft's Bluetooth Radio instead of Apple Built In- Bluetooth. Of course I've got the option to install Apple Built-In Bluetooth from properties on Device Manager, but when I do that I get an Error Code 10 and it never works.

Also, one thing that's also happening is that when I restart the computer It doesn't boot on Apple as default, it goes to Windows unless I press option/alt. In Boot Camp control panel on windows I cannot see Apple drive, and if I try to restart to mac OS from BC control panel it does not work. Mac drive is properly working though.

Any ideas?

Well, I made an attempt to uninstall the driver but unfortunately I could not do it because the bluetooth driver I’ve got does not seem to have an OEM number. I went to Microsoft Radio properties (right clicking on it in Device Manager) and looked the INF name in the details tab and it just says bth.inf. I tryied using pnputil anyway but it didn’t do the trick.

What am I doing wrong?

Any thoughts?

Hello shaynewhite

Your solution worked (kind of) eventhough I have still a few important issues.

  1. If I use the latest Bradcom 802 driver (7.35.118.83 dated 20/04/2018), "Bluetooth collaboration" is no longer on the list of the driver's advanced option and the bluetooth connections are unbearable.
  2. If I roll back driver (7.35.118.68 dated 21/11/2016) I do have the option of disabling the bluetooth collabroation BUT (and it's a big but) the wifi connection is incredibly bad (on and off every few seconds and with a download speed of 2 or 3mb when if tested under the driver of point 1 I've got about 60mbps, also did "ping" test on the command prompt with a consistent result)

Could you tell me what drivers are you using?

Thanks

Yes, but I don't know why it says 9, now it's 0 for instance (see bellow).

But both time, I had the driver property set to 11 (20Hz)

Am I getting all wrong and I should change a router option instead of a driver advance property?
