Bluetooth not working properly on windows 10 using bootcamp.

Same issue, I (and a lot of people) have this problem since always and apple won't do anyhting to fix it. I have looked everywhere for solutions and none of them work, and when the do they just keep working for a short period of time (could be days, could be months).

We need apple to do something for this driver problem.

In case anyone have a magic solution I would really appreciate it.

I'm really frustrated with the way windows runs on mac, almost in every aspect there is a problem. I kind of regret buying this computer. Support is really lame and MBP are quite expensive if you compare them with the competition, I don't think they are worth it.

I'm using a MacBook Pro late 2016 with Mojave OS

I don't have that option with my current broadcom 802.11ac drivers. There was a time when I had that option (with an older broadcom driver) but whenever I deactivated bluetooth collaboration, the side effect was that wi fi connectiviy suffered (unstable connection -on and off- really slow connection and excesive pins).

If you have 2.4G Wireless network at your current location then you have BT, WiFi and USBc using the same band. There are only 3 non-overlapping channels - 2, 6 and 11. Without Collaboration, you will run into issues - BT or WiFi or both. Dual-band network can provide some relief. The non-Collaboration driver is the standard WHQL driver, not an Apple BC driver. W10 'forced' updates keep pushing a sub-optimal driver to your BC installation.

If I activate bt collaboration or updated the software wifi starts to work properly.
I see you have installed Apple Broadcom built in bluetooth, but If I now install it (I currently have bluetooth radio from Microsoft), I got error code 10.

It is a bit of work to remove the WHQL driver. You will need to use pnputil.exe, cleanup DrvStore and then disable Windows Updates for the specific PID/VID to avoid getting it back.

For BT and WiFi to work properly, you need the Apple drivers for Network and BT, both, not just one. I do not allow Windows to update any drivers on my Mac, because it causes issues.

Did BT and WiFi work properly when you had the Apple drivers for both?

Also, you should disable Windows from powering off devices to save power, which exacerbates the problem, further.

Of course I've got the option to install Apple Built-In Bluetooth from properties on Device Manager, but when I do that I get an Error Code 10 and it never works.

I have seen this error due to conflicts. You may need to uninstall the current driver, remove it from the DrvStore, disable Windows Updates for the specific PID/VID and then try to install the Apple driver.

Also, one thing that's also happening is that when I restart the computer It doesn't boot on Apple as default, it goes to Windows unless I press option/alt.

See Start up your Mac in Windows or macOS with Boot Camp - Apple Support for reference.

In Boot Camp control panel on windows I cannot see Apple drive, and if I try to restart to mac OS from BC control panel it does not work. Mac drive is properly working though.

Older Macs cannot see the newer APFS macOS volumes. 2017 and later Macs can.

How do I do to remove the driver as you suggest?

See PnpUtil reference - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/drivers/devtest/pnputil-command-syntax .

You will first need to uninstall the driver and delete the adapter.

And, out of curiosity, when I reinstalled Windows I believe all drivers were removed. Is there any hope in uninstalling drivers this way?

The intent is to remove the current driver and it's copy in DrvStore, install the Apple BC driver, and prevent any further updates using https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2500967/how-to-stop-windows-7-automatically-installing-drivers . This is valid for W8 and W10 as well.

About the second issue I went to macOS and chose Apple as booting partition.

Nice.

Have you tried doing a cold boot of Windows instead of restarting from macOS? That's the only way Bluetooth works on my 2016 MBP 15". I'm using the standard Microsoft "Bluetooth Radio" driver and the updated Wi-fi without the collaboration option, and everything works as long as I don't restart from macOS. You will need to turn off the option that allows Windows to "turn off Bluetooth to save power," though, because that will make BT spontaneously stop working.

Well, I did not have in my DriverStore folder this .73 driver but I managed to get it online and could install it without issues.

I think It may work better, but still if I disable bluetooth collaboration (so that my mouse and speakers can work properly) my wifi still has some problems, it's steadier than with the .68 driver but I still get download speeds of about 10% of my domestic connection.

Respect to the .83 driver that is working for shaynewhite I turned off all power managment option and I think it may be that we are ussing diferent bluetooth devices (I've got issues with a Microsoft Bluetooth Mouse 3600 and a Bose Soundlink Mini II).

Thank you both Loner T and shaynewhite, I never had a decent answer from apple in the last few years that I've been trying to work around this issues, but your answers helped me get my devices working, still with issues but so far is usable.
