When I'm trying to delete an email out of the Mail app it looks like it is deleting, but then doesn't delete

Outlook app worked fine for my emails as did another third party mail device, could you please give a insight into your issue so I can feed this back? Thank you

It's not a Microsoft problem, it's an Apple Mail app problem with different kinds of accounts other than iCloud

MS Exchange account on iOS 13.2.2 - need to delete twice.

I'm using 13.2.2 and mail deletion issue re-appeared. I will delete emails on my phone, native Mail app, then switch to my laptop and notice those emails are sitting in my Inbox

Even with iOS 13.2.2 we have to delete the e-mails twice in Mail

After reading all these reports, the problem clearly lies with the mail app. I’m hoping that 13.3 offers the fix. I’ve read that it will be released sometime in December.

trust me. I have done it. I also tried the DFU mode factory reset. The issue is with the Mail App.

It’s working fine for me now. I did remove my email account and add it back but not sure that had anything to do with it.

I'm have the same exact issue. I'm using the iOS Mail app with my Live and Exchange accounts. This problems is stilling happening in the iOS 13.1 update. Hopefully they fix this soon, it's very annoying.

I'm afraid I still have same delete problem with new iOS13.1.2.

Moving mail to different folders is also not working every time.

Also tried full hard power off, and completely removing my Outlook accounts and starting again from scratch, without any luck.

13.1.2 didn't work, still having the double delete email issue and the safari issue mentioned above. I compared my iPhone 7 Plus to an iPhone X, the X does not have either of the issues and the X says its up-to-date on 13.1.1.

As discussed above, issues were not resolved for me yesterday using 13.1.2, restart, mail account deletion and fresh set-up etc. but all seems OK today? Intermittent issue, or perhaps Microsoft has changed something at their Server end (Outlook.com)???

Will keep monitoring.....

I’m having the exact same issue since updating to iOS 13. Have to delete emails twice before they are actually deleted - very annoying!!

None of the 3 patches to date has solved the issue. iPhone XS with 13.1.2. The email account is Hotmail/Outlook.com

I’ve even tried deleting the whole account off the phone and re-adding it, but it has not solved the issue.

Apple please acknowledge this issue and provide a fix ASAP!

Ipad mini 5 with iOS 13.1.2 is fine but that’s using my Father’s google based mail server.

I also noticed my iPhone takes longer to send to the server that an email is read.

Anybody have the problem with a non Microsoft account?
