iOS 13 Photos app crash

Well, if that is true, then they broke it again in iOS 13.2. I am editing photos on my vacation (iPhone 8) and it’s crashing consistently every 12-20 photos after the edit (while saving the edits, looks like)! It’s really annoying since I then have to remember the last photo I was editing, scroll through all the successive photos to the last photo I was editing, perform the same edits again and repeat this process the next inevitable crash. :(

Same thing on Iphone 7 Plus. After updating to IOS 13 Photos app keeps crashing if i scroll up or down fast.

Never happened before on any IOS version.

Can confirm, experiencing this same crash on iOS 13.0 on my iPhone XR.

Scrolling very fast or tapping to go straight to the oldest photo causes the app to crash, and immediately send you to the home screen. Very annoying.

I too experience the same problem. I have an iPhone X that I just upgraded and a brand new iPhone 11 Pro Max. They both have the same photos on them and both experience the crash when I scroll back through recents (formerly camera roll). I have about 7,000 photos in the recents (if the count is correct). I will note that I WiFi transferred a small number of photos from a Panasonic camera on italy recently so I do wonder if maybe non iPhone photos in their cause the problem. It was fine on IOS 12. Does anyone know if there is an official bug tracker Apple has we can post these issues too? I know IOS 13.1 is supposed to be out sometime this next week. Hopefully that upgrade just fixes the issue.

I’m facing the same issue and its very very annoying. I have an XR however i have nearly 40,000 pictures which i know is a lot, but still! This shouldn’t be a concern at this point especially since this technology is so advanced. Love IOS 13 tho, but they need to make this go away! please!

Hi, I have been using the ios 13.1 all the Beta builds , I have 25000 photos and couldn't replicate the problem, scroll up and down and everything is ok, could it be your phones have conflicts with other apps?

13.2 or what ever the latest is Hasn’t work for me I still have 11000+ photos the phot app has destroyed the time taken and location on. Further it has totally mixed these up with new photos appearing well before and mixed with photos taken 5 or more years ago. From what I can see this has now backed up to the cloud basically f....ing my whole photo collection and nothing is being done. As usual the so called geniuses have no bloody idea and pass the buck

Well I’m having similar issues. New iPhone 11 Pro Max 256g. I only have a few hundred images from a clean install. When I create an album I am only able to add a few images otherwise the app crashes. If I try to add more than 10 images it crashes to home screen every time. I’ve restarted multiple times with similar results. Very annoying

Using iPhone X with the same issue. Scroll or double tap the top crashes the photos app.

Same here with both iPhone X and iPhone 11 Pro Max. Hopefully this bug will be fixed on 13.1

Yes this happens to me every time I try it

iPhone X crashes every single time I attempt to scroll at speed through photos. This is such a bug filled release.

Same thing happened on my brand spanking new iPhone 11 Pro Max

Just let it scan through all the photos while charging and locking the phone, or during the night.
