Bluetooth Stuttering Issues | iPhone 11 Pro Max | iOS 13

My audio (from all apps) playback on Bluetooth devices is stuttering making it sound kinda like static. Currently on iPhone 11 Pro Max, iOS 13. My prior iPhone XS Max on iOS 13 worked perfectly. So it's either the iPhone 11 Pro Max or iOS 13 on it in particular. Anybody else experiencing the same issues? Thanks!

Yes, confirmed, turning off Hey Siri makes the crackling problem go away for me, after the first couple of seconds at least. I do still have random Bluetooth connection partial or full failures in the car however. I think that is connected to the general BT issues with iPhone 11, but also separate from the crackling problem. Given how slow/useless Siri is with this new phone it isn't too much of a loss to have to turn off the Hey Siri function. But yeah, they were able to make those two co-existing in all previous phones (since Hey Siri was introduced) so you'd hope they can fix this issue also.

Don’t bother updating to iOS 14 beta, it doesn’t fix it. I also noticed that it happens to me on CarPlay when the phone is plugged directly into the lightning cable into the car USB port, not even using Bluetooth! And again, if I am in my driveway I get this interference the same as with Bluetooth (cd skipping staticky, music cutting out) but as soon as I drive away from my house it goes away. Also got a new Bluetooth speaker this week, same issues as every other audio device I connect whether it be Headphones or speakers and it happens more frequent in other rooms. Still haven’t pinpointed what it be. Nothing obvious that’s for sure. All I can do is wait on the next iPhone and hope it’s resolved.

It’s only when the car is near the house. I was just out mowing the lawn using my AirPods and the music kept cutting out on me even standing a good good 50ft from the house. It’s extremely infuriating. I did a full wipe and restore yesterday after downgrading from iOS 14 beta and it’s still the same issues. As soon as I restore my phone from my cloud backup the issue returns. I don’t know what kind of settings are restoring that are causing it or why I only get interference at home.

If you check my previous posts I linked a thread I was active in on my issue. Your issue may be specific to your iPhone 11 but this issue has happened to my last several phones of different gens over the year. I always buy the latest and greatest iPhone and this issue eventually starts happening months into owning my phones. I’ve replaced so many of them through apple care and the same thing happens again and again.

Well, after months of having the issue disappear and not recur the stutter suddenly came back with a vengeance. Now, I will be listening to anything on my iPhone, the stutter will start, then I will cease hearing the music completely. If I switch to the iPhone speaker and back to my Powerbeats Pros I will hear the sound again. Absolutely no issue with the Powerbeats Pro when connected with any other device.

I think I got this one. Intermittent stuttering... any device.... reset/siri/phone side no good. I found a Bluetooth device, a very far (40 ft) through aluminum siding still on while in the charger. I figure the Bluetooth radios (both the phone and the Bose) were so good that even with that physical interference, the phone (at least) could get a ping from the Bose and went into acquisition mode, disrupting the desired Bluetooth connection. I think Apple needs to desensitize the non-connected Bluetooth device to keep this from happening. I have no Iphone or Bose radio specs or i could debug from here. Mainly it is Iphones problem for it serves as a master to all Bluetooth. Give me about $150k and access to your prints and specs and I'll send the fix to Software for encoding...... Really, I'm that good. Dropped acid with the Waz at Ontario Motor Speedway in 1978 at an US festival. He could fix it.....
