iPhone not ringing after iOS 13 update

I, too, have that same additional, obnoxious problem on top of all the other ones I mentioned above. I can’t send any pictures through iMessage this keeps getting better and better. I have tried every one’s advice on this thread in hopes something might work, but nothing! Also, as someone else mentioned, this did not occur to an iPhone 7 that I passed down to my daughter two weeks ago and had been using from purchase for 2 1/2 years...that phone has not been affected in the least.

I think Apple needs to accept responsibility since we are all relying heavily on calls and texts coming in ... it’s seriously not acceptable!

I have the same problem with my phone not ringing. I can’t send a screenshot either. If I want to send a screenshot I have to turn the phone off and on same as to get it to ring a few times. Very Frustrating!! If I have my Apple Watch on, my watch will ring when I get a call.

When I downloaded 13.1.2 it was still in testing, so a Beta. Did not know it was fully available yet. Anyway, after the download the ring still did not work. So I turned the phone off, then on again, and as far as I can tell everything is back to normal and the phone still rings more than 24 hours after I downloaded 13.1.2

I have an iPhone 11. Would be difficult for Apple if the different i-phones from SE on up have a different reaction to iOS13 dependent upon the model....

OK - I messed up on what I wrote. I went to Apple and downloaded iOS 13.2 which is a Beta version . Have slow internet, so download took almost 2 hours. Installed it and iPhone 11 still did not ring. Performed a power on/off and everything works. When I look at software on phone it says iOS13.1.2

Understand the Beta for iPad13.2 has been removed from access because in some cases it bricks the upgraded iPad. Do not know if 13.2 for iPhone is available still, and I think I am going out of my deapth from technical point of view here. Whatever I did worked.

Me too. Very aggravating. Wish I hadn’t updated to ios13. How does this happen?? I’ve done everything that everyone else has and it rings for the next few calls then nothing. No texts, emails, phone calls, not on phone or AirPods. I miss Steve Jobs sooo much!

the developer program, so that might be a little beyond my tech savvyness, but I’ll look into it. Glad to know they’re fixing this bug with 13.2.

Just discovered something interesting. If I have my Bluetooth headphones on, listening to music etc and a call or text comes in everything is normal. Texts and calls. Turn off headphones and no go for anything... 🤷‍♂️ Turn Bluetooth back on and can hear phone ringing and texts tones in my earbuds.

My iPhone 8 Plus rings and vibrates now when there is an incoming call. I am very satisfied with Apple Store’s technical solution provided. It's efficient and effective. Thanks.

ios 13.1.2 is silenting the incoming calls. On my iphone 7 , now that has no sound for incoming calls , if I press the side button it rejects the call. When I was receving calls with sound, first press - silent , second press - reject . So I think that it only silents the calls (like I did when I presed the side button) .

Yes, I could not add photos to texts or email either. I restart will correct this temporarily, but the issue will return. All of this in additon to the issues with the missed calls and text issues. Wish I could somehow roll back tom is os12...this update complete screwed up my phone
