notifications not working ios 13.1.2

Since installing iOS 13.1.2, I do not message notifications on either my iPhone Xr or my watch. Receives are received, but no notifications. I’ve changed settings on both watch and phone, but still no notifications. Is this a known bug? Fix on the way?

This problem was introduced with the release of the very problematic iOS 13...

Apple has resolved the problem with the iMessage in the release of iOS 13.1.3.

Since Apple developer's are in damage control mode at the moment it is highly likely that the notification problem will only be tested with their own applications (phone calls, iMessage, etc), which means that their is a good possibility that third party applications like 'Facebag', 'Twerpper', etc. may still experience notification problems.

Seeing all the replies in this thread it is good to know I am not alone. iPhone 7 same issues, particularly with WhatsApp. Not reiceiving notifications then one will slip through, I get all exited thinking it has fixed itself and there we go. Open the app to find 6 messages that I didn't know about. Actually have friends calling me to see if I am alright because they can see their message only has 1 grey tick.

Also keep getting told I have just signed in on a new device, when the device is not new at all. Just happened now when I came to log into this forum, using my Mac mini which I have had since 2010..... Thats a real head scratcher but it did remind me that it keeps happening with my iPhone too.

fingers crossed they get all this fixed. You are not doing your street cred any favours with this APPLE...

by the way thanks for the laugh C with the name changes for face, and twit.

Come on apple get this sorted.

Yup same issue hear. I’ve tried all the “supposed” fixes, still getting no sounds or vibration since the update to iOS 13.1.2. It’s affecting calls received, texts, iMessage, messenger, WhatsApp. I am constantly having to watch my phone to ensure I’m not missing vital calls or messages! It’s driving me nuts, I literally feel like stamping on my phone and going to buy a samsung!

I updated to 13.1.3. Didn’t fix the problems. It worked for a little while because I reset the phone after installing the update, but it always worked for about an hour after a reset. But now I’m not receiving text message notifications again. Probably won’t get phone calls either. They should offer iOS 12 or 11 or whatever the previous version was.

Your not alone. I have 5 Apple watches all series 4 and all of them do not receive email notifications. iOS 13.1.3 was supposed to fix this but it did not. All 5 watches sent into Apple repair and just got notified that all 5 are being shipped back with the known issue. WTF Apple? They are seriously going downhill fast and my old timex will be getting a new life. Done with CRAPPLE.

Am I correct in seeing the this seems to be happening to newer phones. I don't remember reading a post from anyone with an iPhone 6 for example. My friend has an iPhone 6 and she has no probs with the updates. Most people here I think have newer models, mine is a 7 and WhatsApp push notifications not working still with 13.1.3 but iMessage is. messenger occasionally. ???

Sounds like we have the same problem on the same model of phone Simone_86, I wonder if this is applicable to each model.

It does seem that the extent of the problem varies from person to person on these posts, perhaps it could actually be varying via the model of phone they have. Now that would be curious and how the heck do you fix that, if each model is reacting differently. Either way APPLE, too many people are loosing business because of these problems and me thinks that Apple will be too, big time, if they don't get it fixed ASAP.

Indeed. Yesterday I had an important business meeting and so on Friday I had to check the phone every 10 minutes for any news or communications from my boss :(

Sure, I could buy a new phone but:

a) the phone itself is still in good shape (in fact I wasn’t thinking about changing it before the bug)

b) people with newer phones (even iPhone 11) have similar problems

c) the idea of going back to Android doesn’t really excite me that much

On the other hand I can’t go on like this.... Apple must do something and quickly!
