Since installing iOS 13.1.2, I do not message notifications on either my iPhone Xr or my watch. Receives are received, but no notifications. I’ve changed settings on both watch and phone, but still no notifications. Is this a known bug? Fix on the way?

This reset worked for me as well (iPhone XS) - I was intermittently not receiving alerts for both iMessages and text messages for several months. The message would be there when I looked at my lock screen but never made a sound or vibration to alert me. What siamless typed (Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings) is the only fix that seemed to solve the problem (has worked for last 2 months).
This is what "Reset All Settings" does:
-Resets all of your device's settings like Wallpaper, Sounds, Display & Brightness, Background App Refresh, Date & Time, and more.
-Resets Wi-Fi credentials in all iCloud Keychain devices that use the Apple ID if iCloud Keychain is turned on.
-Removes all of your previously used Wi-Fi networks and passwords
-Removes your Apple Pay cards.
-Deregisters your device from iMessage and FaceTime
-Removes your Touch ID & Passcode
-If restrictions are turned on, it resets all of your restrictions.
-Removes Face ID
-Resets accessibility settings
-It removes your encrypted backup password

All 13.1.3 was just released to fix the problem. for me it still does not work :(

I have an iphone xr with ios 13.2.2 and an apple watch series 2 with 6.1.
My notifications doesn’t wake up the screen or make any sound on the iphone, unless i turn off my apple watch.

After installing iOS "update" 13.3. (Watch OS 6.1.1) some notifications/messages still do not show...
Is it just me or the problem was solved with the latest update (13.3.1)?

I’m having this issue as well. My ring doorbell sends me notifications at random times. My text messages will sometimes make a sound, even the badge icon doesn’t show up. even Facebook hasn’t been making sounds from messages. This started after the new update.
My wife got a new iPhone 11 which worked fine till she installed 13.1.2 and now it will not ring on incoming calls or text. She took it back and got an XR and it installed the new update last night on its own and now it will not ring or give notification of text. Apple has a big problem!!!!
I'm having the same issue. But in my case, I get notifications from everyone who texts me (iMessage or regular text), except for only one person. I deleted that person's texts, power off the phone, reset all settings, check Do Not Disturb, Hide Alerts, volume, everything but nothing could resolve this issue. I even texted myself and I get notifications of my texts.
I contacted Apple Support and after explaining my issue all they could tell me was to check with Verizon.
I explained them that Verizon just manages my plan. This was obviously a device issue and it's pretty clear that this happened right after iOS 13.1.2 upgrade. I was texting before and after the upgrade with that specific person so I know it has to do with the upgrade.
Very annoying that Apple support tells me to check with my carrier. If Apple cannot fix it, I don't know how Verizon would.
This is very very frustrating and Apple is not doing anything to resolve this issue.

After installing ios 13.1.2 on my iPhone 7 I only get notifications for emails and sms while for all the other apps (whatsapp, facebook ecc) I don't get any alert and I can only see the messages when I open the apps :(
I've already checked all the notifications settings and I tried the soft reset procedure multiple times but nothing happened :(
I've also noticed problems with notifications since updating to 13.1.2. My default text tone is NONE, and then certain contacts get a text tone sound (set on the contact page). It seems that now, the default text tone is overriding the text tone set on the contact. It used to work just fine.
I’m having the same issue with my iPhone XR. I’ve noticed that the notifications are there but they don’t show or make a sound until the screen is awakened. This has proven to be a significant issue for me as timeliness is extremely important in my work.
In exitement without thinking I downloaded 13.1.2 on my iphone 6sPlus and now totally disappointed. I do not here any notification sound. I could get ring when somebody call me but without any voice so I diverted all my calls on to speaker but still no notification sound. I continue to receive all messages etc but without any notification sound. Contacted twice apple online support but they fail to resolve the issue and ask me to go the nearest apple service centre? Do not know why they are not removing bugs???
My boyfriend has an XR and he doesn't have any problem after updating the 13.1.3.. For my iPhone 7plus.. Let's say it was fatal. I do not get any notifications at all, imessage is dead some days now.. (activating forever -and I tried everything!!). At least I get phone calls and sms....
