notifications not working ios 13.1.2

Tried "Reset All Settings" as suggested above but this did not solve my issue.

Does someone have other ideas?

Note: After the Reset a white screen followed with message at the bottom "Press home to upgrade". Pressed Home and upgrade completed successfully. This however did not solve any of issues I encountered (Notifications, iMessage, FaceTime).

I attempted a second try with reset but that did not help either. On the second attempt I also got the "Press home to upgrade" message...

Unless any other ideas here I think I am going to try next Restoring to factory settings...

Reset the phone. Did a master reset three times. One as new install, one with older backup restore and another with a newer backup restore. None of these fixed the problem. Phone will not ring or give notification of received text messages. Worked fine on IOS 12

This 13.1.2 is a joke! I’ve followed every single troubleshooting tip, even wiping my iPhone 8 clean and reinstalling and I still don’t get email notifications unless I enter into mail and refresh the app.

I was laid off work on September 19, so right now I’m not getting any noise at all. I have employers calling me about interviews, and my phone doesn’t even ring, I’m getting text messages, and no noise. So I have to pick up my phone every five or 10 minutes to see if I’ve missed any calls or text messages. I don’t understand how Apple fixed three or four things, and this happens with the text messages and the phone calls!

I am having this same problem. Ever since the latest update I only get sound alerts maybe half the time when I receive a text message. I have tried everything listed here and everything google suggested and still nothing. It is very annoying. I get the banner notification but there is no sound unless the phone is unlocked which of course isn't safe to do and Apple won't let you do if you use their Wallet so it's a catch 22 situation.

Ever since updating to the new IOS 13 and the subsequent updates, notifications has not worked on my phone for certain apps. I have tried everything, resetting the notifications in the main menu in my settings and in the app itself, doing the soft reset, uninstalling and reinstalling the app, nothing works. This is really a joke. There has to be a way to fix these notification issues.

Since installing IOS 13.1.2, not receiving notification tones for emergency, amber, and public safety alerts (missed Wolf Fire evacuation alert-fortunately, false alarm). Also, contacts set with emergency bypass not working.

This is exactly what is happening to me as well on a brand new iPhone 11 Pro Max. Absolutely ridiculous! Also having huge issues getting my Chevy my link connected to my phone. Works half of the time. I can’t believe Apple is allowing their brand to become this tarnished. It’s a shame.

I am so frustrated that Apple has not fixed this bug. My iPhone 8 does not ring or notify me when messages arrive. I have been a loyal Apple customer since the first Apple personal computer came on market, but I’ve had it! Why have a phone if it doesn’t ring!! I’ve tried all fixes AND called Apple support who drew a complete blank. Android is beckoning.

Is ANYONE from Apple going to weigh in on this? Current ALL my devices are ready for an upgrade...if this isn’t even acknowledged soon, ALL my devices will be replaced, including two AppleTV’s a MacBook Air, TimeMachine, 4 iPhones, 2 iPads, and a gen 3 watch. Seriously, I will make the change completely away from Apple. My business is driven by notifications...this is costing me money...REAL money!

Same problem for me. Very frustrating. Power cycled the phone. Turned off dnd. Adjusted the volume. Reset network settings. Works for a few calls and then nothing again. Nothing on phone or AirPods. I sure hope they fix this FAST. Unacceptable bug.

nothing works, reset,setting changes, etc. annoying to have to open my phone often to see if i have text messages when thats the main form of communication for business these days.....:) 13.1.1 worked fine.13.1.2 not so fine.

I have an iphone7 & I'm getting no imessage notifications, on lock screen or notification centre.

Also my phone doesn't ring if someone calls me, it just shows on my lock screen as "Notification - phone" & if I click on it shows I have a missed call. Someone left me a voicemail at the weekend & yet it hasn't come up that I had a missed call or a voicemail, the only reason I know is that they told me when they saw me!!

As others have said, this is the most basic of functions for a phone that you should be able to be called on it, or send a text! I keep checking for another software update that will fix it as I'm worried what I am missing (also waiting to hear re a job).

I have the exact same problem. iMessage and FaceTime stopped working. Facebook Messenger doesn't send notifications, WhatsApp doesn't send notifications and also doesn't sync with the app on Mac. This has effectively bricked the phone for me.

I have an iPhone X and I have encountered the same issue unfortunately. I thought I was the only one but at least in a glad to see this thread that I am not the only one. I hope Apple fixes this very soon and provides us with an update. I have been missing on a lot of important notifications thanks to this stupid issue.
