Upgraded to Catalina several hours ago. iMac has gone to "sleep" 4 times and each time failed to "wake". Had to do "hard reboot". Anyone else?
Same here. After update to Catalina my Mac will not wake from sleep following inactivity or forced sleep. Ran first aid with no problems detected, and energy saver settings are set to default. Not good.

Resetting the NVRAM worked for me. (MBA early 2015 model)

Sounds like BaggerNorm had a good tech experience. I am about to get a scheduled phone call from Apple. I will mention BaggerNorm's experience and see if this Tech/Advisor can figure it out.

Well that's the only fix, though not ideal as you stated, that has worked for me - Thanks. My Mac will wake now, but if I select "Lock Screen" from the Apple Menu I cannot wake it.

Can you still use your displays? when you deleted the extension?
I'm using a JCD543 and the dock works for power, for internet and I get one display (in addition to the MacBook display).
I have a J5 hdmi adapter, so I'm also going to deal with Trigger5Core.kext as others have posted.
Same here with iMac Pro. The only thing I've been able to do to make the problem go away is to move my photos library into the trash bin.
Yes...I have this problem too. Spent an hour with Apple support and no solution. Going to Apple store tomorrow for help
