OS X Catalina - Dock has disappeared
Just updated to Catalina with my iMac Pro 2017 & the dock has disappeared this morning. It was here last night after the update but nothing today.
It won't show again - anybody experiencing this too ?

My dock also disappeared after reseting my PRAM, because my external Apple keyboard did not recognize cmd-button after Catalina upgrade.
This is how I got it(the Dock) back:
Try restart with Option+Command+D. It worked for my Mac Air.
Had the same problem. Found a quicker way to fix it: Spotlight Search (cmd + spacebar) to find Activity Monitor and quit application "Dock". Then restarted Dock from Spotlight Search.
I have the same problem, comes back with LaunchPad, but disappears again when closed
What helped me was to 1) open terminal and 2) type the command: killall Dock
After that, dock settings in system preferences were changeable again.
This worked for me too. Thank you!
Thank you, that worked for me once I rebooted
Thank you - the terminal command did it for me!
Hi, solution: 1) open terminal, 2) type killall Dock
I am on an iMac and when I opened mission control the dock would appear. Otherwise it is completely disappeared.
Restart with Option+Command+D pressed.
Restart with Option+Command+D.
Thanks so much for this. It worked for me!
I had the same issue today.
Try Command + Option + D
It worked for me
Try doing a four finger up swipe on your trackpad. It seems that this is the new way to access the dock, it doesn't work the way it used to.
No, it is NOT BETA, it is Version 10.15, rolled out to 'the public' as a regular upgrade! I am a developer, so yes, I do understand what BETA is. This is not!
