Mac OS music app equalizer not working

Unfortunately, for decades, it's been typical for Apple to say about many reported bugs for which they don't yet have a fix, "That's an unknown problem", as if each person is the first to report it to them. Often, they'll say that to everyone who reports the bug until they have a fix.

unfortunately, we should not have to do a song by song workaround. how many thousands of catalina casualties will it take before this unknown problem becomes knowledgeable? for all of my years as an imac owner,i am astounded and beyond annoyed at the disconnected, unconcerned support response.

I know this problem is not an equaliser issue, but I am unable to see the album artwork displayed on the TV when playing my music through Apple TV 3rd gen. This always worked before the Catalina release. All artwork is displayed on the Mac in the Music app ok. Sorry to post this here, but just hoping someone has a fix for this. I have already posted this separately and no response as yet. Thanks!!

Amazing to me..

Makes me wonder how a company so big with endless resources can make a change in an update without throughly checking the code prior to public release..

Hey guys. It`s March 5, 2020, and the equalizer is still not working properly! :(

• I set the EQ
• Play the music
• I skip the music to the next one
• EQ is again on it`s default level... really annoying workflow

Apple you have to be kidding us! What a fundamental function and It`s still not working as it should be.

It is a very cumbersome procedure but at least we can listen to music in a decent way

same here! but I have over 3k songs - once again apple let us down!

Hard times, but I have >10k songs and made a priority list with 1532 songs and they are all with eq now

The massive EQ settings works this time!

But in a few minutes, i''ll play music through Apple CarPlay and don't know what to expect there!

Hope Apple fix this soon...

Like someone already said, one Eq setting doesn't work for every speaker system.

This is only a temporary suggestion.
