PDF’s not opening in iOS 13.1.2

Same issue with pdf's not opening. I deleted the Alibaba app, re-started my phone and now it works fine.

I am using iphone Xs!

I faced exactly the same problem after I installed the Alibaba app.

So I deleted the Alibaba app.

Now I can open PDF files without problem.

Adobe Scan was the culprit to me. After deleting I am able to view pdf again.

My wife had a similar problem. The solution was to delete the mail app (!!). Then reinstall it from the app store. Then go to the settings and set your mail accounts to active. It sounds risky to delete the mail app. We held our breath and did it.

PDF files should still open in place using Quick Look. For some reason yours is not working. Try using Apple Books to view this PDF until this problem has been resolved. I highly encourage you to submit a bug report to Apple using the following link.

Alibaba was not my problem. I’ve tried other app suppression, and one of the 4 last one I’ve delete solve my problem.

Sorry but did not tried for each of them:

Zoom, Montblanc Hub, neu.Annotate+, Newzik.

But my problem is now solved!!!

You are awesome for this one. I’ve restored my phone multiple times only to land right back at square one. I have deleted alibaba and just like that I have a useable phone again. I can now delete the godforsaken outlook app.

In the list of applications scroll all the way to the right > Tap More > Add Books.

It was the same for me. I deleted Alibaba and AliExpress apps, reloaded email app and it worked.

After restarting the iPhone the PDF that remained with the Centrelink logo went back to normal. I’ve also read that other third party apps can cause this as well and it’s a matter of deleting one app at a time.
