Mac Mail on Mac keeps rearranging mailboxes randomly

I have the exact same problem since I upgraded to Catalina.

Apple please fix it !!!

MacOS 10.15.3 Beta - and STILL an issue. Very annoying to have mailboxes move randomly. It's hard to overcome muscle memory ;-)

Me, too. Started as soon as I was using Catalina.

I have been having the same issue since Catalina. It happens on a Mac Mini; I only notice it when comes out of sleep/

How is this not a common issue when so many people are dealing with this such unnecessary BS.

Apple, please give us something to stop this stupid constant mailbox re-arranging!

I have the same problem. Sometimes several times in the same day my 7 mailboxes just randomly rearrange themselves. Apple please fix this bug! It is really annoying.

Did exactly what you said => took all accounts off (mailboxes) and added them in the row I want them. They stayed exactly for 1 day and then got scrambled again. What a pain!

Third day after the change you suggested and they still haven't changed order for me too.

Unfortunately for me, the fix that @SpikyOrange mentioned did not help me :(

Gosh, it is really painful with my 9 mailboxes, I can't even imagine doing this with 22. How is it that despite all of the people complaining about this, Apple still has done SH*T about it?!

I have an icloud account and several gmail accounts. The iCloud account always remains at the top, but my work gmail account is always moving around. I actually find it extremely annoying.
