Anyone not receiving in app purchase receipts from Apple?

I get the confirmation email of purchase but although the email address is correct I don’t receive the receipt by email after several days. I know I can look at purchase history. However I need the receipts.

I know the email address in Apple ID is correct and I used to receive them but they have stopped. There is nothing in spam or junk. My ISP has not blacklisted the address. I do receive the confirmation of purchase from iTunes after the purchase but not the receipt.

I have spoken to support and they even looked at things remotely. They are still investigating.

Does anyone have this problem?

I have the same problem since October 2019.

Try this on iPhone:

  1. Open the Settings app.
  2. Tap your name, then tap iTunes & App Store.
  3. Tap your Apple ID, then tap View Apple ID. You might be asked to sign in.
  4. Scroll to Purchase History and tap it.

Finally tap RESEND

Worked for me with Gmail.

Go to Settings on Apple iPhone. Then click on iTunes & App Stores, then click on your Apple ID view Apple ID, then Purchase History. Under Purchase History you will find all purchases. Click on purchases that were not free $0 & then click on resend receipt at bottom of purchase order. You can also click on your Apple ID under settings then subscriptions but you can’t resend receipt from subscriptions.

Still broken. At this point I’ve resolved to check periodically and resend the emails and once a month contact Apple support to resend my iCloud subscription which doesn’t show up.

Apple has really gone downhill with all these server issues lately, most which they haven’t even publicly acknowledged.

I first experienced this when I bought an Apple iWatch at a local Apple store. I’ve bought many things from the stores and gotten email receipts, but with the iWatch, I did not receive a receipt. I called the store, they resent a duplicate receipt to three different hotmail accounts, but no receipt received. Then had sent to my iCloud email and it showed up. But then, I noticed I was not receiving app and monthly icloud storage subscriptions receipts either. Called support. They sent requested receipts to my hotmail account and they arrived. So it’s not hotmail, but they wanted to blame the email service. Now that I see others having the same problem, I don’t feel as paranoid that it was my email accounts. This is a bummer and Apple needs to fix this.

Apple isn’t publicly announcing there is a problem with receipts. Like they won’t admit all your photos & videos coming from iCloud are no longer in chronological order on devices. There customer service is horrible calling & going to store in person. Receipts just are icing on topping. Apple gets too much money & has no respect for money their paid to even send customers receipts.

Same issue on my side.

I stopped receiving the usual receipt that I need for each iTunes Store purchase.

It is possible to browse the purchase history and manually force a resending but this is very inconvenient and cumbersome.

It is moreover a "security" issue as I would expect to be informed if a purchase is made on my behalf.

The last receipt I received was October 15th, 2019. The next charge I have from the iTunes store is for Apple Arcade on November 7th, when my free trial ended. I remember being surprised seeing the charge on my credit card, because I hadn't seen the receipt come through yet.

I don't think there are preferences or settings anywhere to disable receipts? I hope this is not somehow related to Apple Arcade.

My email account is gmail, which wasn't a problem at all for over a decade. I do use the "gmail + trick" to send iTunes email to a separate "mailbox", but since many of you are using other mail services, I doubt that is the cause either.

I still haven't received any receipts from them... not for iCloud, not for Apple Music, not for movie rentals, not for app purchases, not for streaming service subscriptions...not since the end of October. Some of these things are business expenses so it's pretty annoying to all the sudden not get the receipts. I wonder what happened to their 10 Dec date.

Same here. No receipts since around October 2019. While another person (last reply, above) replied that they just began receiving receipts (1) again (on January 3rd, 2020). My bank shows this month's pending Apple charges already, and they're also in my Purchases in my iTunes account, but I have not received emailed receipts for these purchases as of today, January 6th, 2020.

It is January 7 2020. This has not been fixed. I made a purchase 1 January 2020 with store credit. Apple did not auto send a receipt. A receipt was available in purchase history in account section in itunes store. There is a link to resend receipt which does send the receipt to email on account.

Made another purchase on 4 January 2019 with store credit. 3 days later it is still saying pending purchase in purchase history in itunes store account section. No link to resend receipt and no order id.

Apple still has a problem. Had a long chat with apple support with a junior and senior support people. They refuse to accept there is a problem. Apple support people don't seem very smart. Support end the chat which was very rude.

How can this be escalated to even more senior support that can understand the issue? Seems like no one at Apple really care. Maybe best to not buy anything from Apple until this is fixed.

Same issue. Last invoice is 30. 10. 2019, to this day nothing else, not even icloud drive or apple music payment. The only email I get id confirmation of purchase so that I can’t refund it within 14 days, but that’s all, no invoice at all. Hope they can at least address this issue publicly so we know iťs their fault.

I too am having this problem! Stupid Apple... they ask us to go into iTunes/Music to see our purchases and if you use your iPhone, it does not show the actual amount - the tax is missing. Which makes it hard b/c when you balance against your bank account statements you need to actual total amount! I would really like to receive Apple receipts via email.
