MacBook Pro 16" Kernal Panic During Restart when Plugged into Dual Monitors

Agree. I mentioned to service that others having the same issue. It never happens when unplugged from the LG monitors.

I think so. The computer functions fine if not plugged into the monitors and allowed to go to sleep. Happens only when the monitors are connected to the computer.

Mine does this even when it isn't connected to extra screens

I'm getting kernel panics & shutdown a couple of times every day. I'm not using any external screens. Seems to be when it's sleeping.

Has gotten worse recently IMO.

Also note that an older MacBook Pro connected to same monitors has not crashed, no kernel panics. There is something wrong with the MacBook Pro 16.

As per my post, the power nap “solution” worked in previous update but it doesn’t help now.

That error message show a RAM Memory error, detected by some of the most thoroughly tested parts of MacOS that have to do with memory allocation and queues.

The hexadecimal pattern expected deadbeefdeadbeef a "too cute" pattern used by programmers for empty memory, but instead found deadbeeedeadbeef, a single bit error.

Normally, I would say you have an obvious RAM problem, However, you have made your situation impossible to debug because you have loaded TWO Hypervisor/Virtualisors, both VirtualBox and Parallels. You must choose one or the other, not Both, if you want relaible operation of your Mac.

I let Memtest run for 1 pass, it took about 40 minutes. I created a bootable USB and booted from it to run the Memtest utility. This person has the exact same error message https://discussions.apple.com/thread/250917084 on the 16' MBP.

I got the exact same issue, maxed out 16” MBP and this only happens to me when I connect my laptop to 2 x LG 5k Ultrafines, I initially thought this was a problem with my machine specifically but apple gave me brand new one and I had the same issue. I do have a 2018 15” MBP also maxed out from work and that one doesn’t have this problem. I’m really not sure what’s going on but when you spend this much on a machine this is absolutely ridiculous. Apple needs to fix this.
