brand new magic keybaord not working with ipadpro 11 inch

Thank you for that! Turning off Assistive Touch restored full functionality of my Magic Keyboard. Unfortunately, with it disabled certain functions are no longer easily accessible. Please fix this bug!

I’m having the same issue. This is my second magic pro keyboard, as the first one was defective ( the “;” was stuck and when typing around it I would get p; or l; etc). I got the second magic pro keyboard on 06/03 for my new iPad Pro 2020 and it was working fine until yesterday 06/07 when suddenly trackpad stopped working. Then out of nothing it started working again. Now the keyboard itself is not working. I have updated to 13.5.1. Any thoughts?

I also have updated to 13.5.1. and some of the keys still not working (left and right arrows, plus/equal, and parentheses). Has been the case since I used it brand new last week. Tried restarting, re-installing, updating software, turning off assistive touch, nothing works. This has driving me somewhat crazy as I type a lot of documents.

Any suggestions?

Thanks. Didn't work I'm afraid. Now when I try and type the letter 'i' in word for example it brings up the selections 'select, select all, new comment and insert'

The cursor circle moves too, it's all very odd! Any more suggestions please?

Thanks, yes I have the cable plugged into the ipad and have removed it several times, replacing making sure it's square on. When I type the letter 'i' for example, getting all sorts of random requests it's just certain letters that won't type, all in the same area UIOJKLand M. Hitting those keys moves the cursor circle! Very strange.

I have a brand new ipad air 4, and ipad magic keyboard. Worked for two weeks till last night. Charged through keyboard socket over night. This morning the keyboard is completely dead. Restarted the ipad a couple times. Re positioned the ipad air 4 a couple times. Nothing, no response from keys or trackpad and it also does not charge via keyboard socket anymore. Completely dead. Please advise.

Ya that works for me too but i would hate to do it frequently and as it can get pretty annoying since it happens from time to time. Hope apple releases an update to fix this bug soon

My space bar doesnt work normally in random apps, like any chat box in Safari, and Pages. It acts as a tab function. What’s going on?
