I've no experience with hackintosh. Restoring on a different Windows PC might be worth a shot first.

I tried the dfu restore method , and after i hold the button 12 secs the ipod screen is like its turned off , not recognized by itunes , if iformat it i dont lose thigs like the ipod os, i am right?
I tried the DFU method i conne t it to itunes it says waiting for the ipod and then itunes freeze and i pod is to a black and white screen that says do not disconnect
I disconnect it and now says connect to itunes to restore but when i connect the ipod it freezes and after that ipod is no recognized
How frustrating. I'm sure that you should be able to get one of the methods to work to restore it. If your machine won't do it then perhaps a friend's might.

, It says removable disk on thi pc on my p it says usb disk and i can see the ipod
I press right click and the compiter just freeze
Do you think an iflash card can solve the problem?
Might be the battery? Also thanks for your patience
The health of the battery shouldn't really be an issue as long as it's not completely flat as the computer will be providing charge when it is connected for restoring/reformat.

I think when deliverd they just played baseball with the box, this is what happend, and i think the head it somewhat busted, i mean look at the box
That's no way to treat a classic.
