Macbook Pro Bootcamp Bluetooth Keyboard Problem

My Surface keyboard keeps not working after working for some time. Disconnecting it and reconnecting it resolves the issue, but isnt a long term solution.

I've downloaded the latest drivers onto a usb via bootcamp and re-run (repair) bootcamp and the Bluetooth driver remains the generic driver. I have tried to manually select the driver but Apple Inc. is not in the list of manufacturers. I also do not see any bluetooth driver on the USB besides the Broadcomm bus driver. The bluethooth co-exist setting is not available on the WiFi driver settings.

The keyboard continues to work as long as I'm using it, so I don't think its WiFi. It is a BT LE keyboard (MS Surface Keyboard), so its probably going into some low power mode and having trouble coming out of that mode. This keyboard works fine with my Surface Laptop.

Id like to install the Apple Bluetooth driver that folks mention on similar posts to this, but it doesn't seem to be a part of the current Bootcamp package.
