Battery drain after iOS 14 update.
I had installed the new ios 14 and my battery drained from 90% to 10% without me even touching the phone. This has never happened before.
Please Apple fix asap.

The actual “notes” app that comes on the phone. That is where it said it was using a lot of my battery and it said it was running in the background for a long time. Nothing was supposed to even be running in the background but that app kept drawing from my battery nonstop. I deleted it and reinstalled and haven’t had a problem since. Not sure if that’s the problem app everyone is having problems with but you can check. If you go into settings, then down to battery. If you scroll down on the page it shows how much battery time is used on each app. If there’s one that seems like a crazy amount of time, it could be the problem?

How long does this learning process normally take?
Battery usage is diminished rapidly and iphone heats up quickly. All this started after the update to IOS 14.

Need a solution fast
My battery life was perfect before ios 14 upgrade. I could go ALL day without charging. Now by 10 am it's at 5%. You need to fix this.
i too updated to 14.1 and won’t charge wirelessly after all night long. Apple has to post a fix somewhere right? Where would that be?
Dua, your iPhone is communicating wirelessly all the time. It will use some battery even if you aren’t interacting with it. I don’t see an issue with what you have shared here.
Has anyone installed the latest patch - has it helped anyone?
My battery health is at 97% after the update to iOS 14 is draining like crazy and it gets extremely hot when wireless charging! Please advise.

I talked to Apple regarding this. They told me the battery is fine and had me download 14.1 but it has not fixed the problem. My iPhone and iPad are practically useless.

After my most recent Apple update, my battery life has gone from bad to worse! If Apple is trying to get me to buy a new phone, after numerous battery issues, it will not be another Apple phone! 😖
