iPhone camera not working after iOS 14 update

I’m using iphone 7. Last major update, my mic stopped functioning so my iphone cannot make and receive calls. And on this ios 14 update, the camera just stopped

working

none of that works! lmao this is a BUG in iOS 14 its been in it since beta 4! apple has ignored the reports in the beta and the microphone issues in iOS 13! i'm just waiting on my scheduled call today and someone from apple is gonna hear it today! i can promise ya that! i'm sick of them ignoring the reports of bugs with the older devices its like they are trying to force us to upgrade! can't make or receive calls and now can't use camera or flashlight!

I have the same issues as everyone with my iPhone 7. Back in March after an update the mic stopped working and now the flashlight and camera. Haven’t been able to receive calls with my phone for 6 months now and I thought it was my fault somehow.

No it’s a lot of people and they will be fixing this problem ! Im going to wait to see what they do for him. So that will tell me what I need to do has well. Because it’s really hard for not a single camera to work on your phone

I have a cynically degraded iPhone 7, the microphone does not work after 13 now the the camera and torch do not work after 14. I also have a valueless VW diesel with the emission cheating engine. I am NEVER buying another VW. Tell my why I should buy another overpriced iPhone?

Same here! The last update, my microphone stopped working. Now the camera stopped working. If it’s true that they’re doing this to force people to buy new phone it’s ridiculous! What about people like me who doesn’t have a plan to buy a new one?!!? Annoying!

exactly without a camera and a mic my phone is the same as a brick. I'm so ****** at apple right now to think I was so close to buying a new phone just because of their scammy software updates. I'll also wait for their response to the person above.

I have an iPhone 11 Pro and ever since upgrading my default camera app has been very unstable. It will crash often. Sometimes trying to edit a photo I just took will lock the app up entirely. I think it might have something to do with "Live" photos, but I'm not 100% certain.

I have exactly the same issue. The mic stopped working after the prior update, now it's the camera and the torch.

I spent most of my morning with Apple on the phone, did a diagnostics (the hardware is fine), 2 factory resets, and several other troubleshooting with them. Yet, nothing helped. The support kept insisting that it's my phone that has that issue. However, I told them that the camera was working perfectly right before the update and that I can still use it using this: trough the torch->camera->10 sec wait (yet another prove that IOS is to blame.)

I also face this issue after I updated my iPhone7+ to iOS 14. I have been able to get a temporary fix by spamming the flashlight button in the control center until the flashlight works again. After that I spam the camera flip button and sometimes the camera will start working again. However if I close or leave the app and come back it does not work.

I am running into the exact same issues! Was working fine on iOS13, I factory reset my iPhone 7+ on iOS14 to see if it would work, it didn't end up working. Still have the same flashlight and camera issue. I must have restarted my phone over 50 times just trying to get it to work but nothing. I will be downgrading to iOS 13.7

I had the same issue with my iPhone 7 plus. Camera was black and flash never worked. I just kept tapping the flash button repeatedly on and off and eventually the flash came on and the camera started worked. Weird but it worked.
