iPhone camera not working after iOS 14 update

It helped so now everytime I want to click a picture I go to camera click the 3s timer and wait and then click a picture. Then that mode is stable until you put off the camera.

everyone has the option to mail it in. Just have to get spare phone or do without for 7 days. 3 days to mail it, 1 day to inspect it and 3 to send it back.

As with others iOS 14.0.1 has fixed my camera (for now). Still an issue with the mic - Apple want me to travel miles to a store for them to tell me it's a hardware issue when it's clear it's not.

turn on the flashlight, then go to camera and wait 10 seconds. Seriously, this works.

Keep hounding them and putting in tickets and support request and link them to this thread in the email/ticket. What I did. They replaced my 7+ with 128GB XR unlocked.

I have exactly the same issue. The mic stopped working after the prior update, now it's the camera and the torch.

I spent most of my morning with Apple on the phone, did a diagnostics (the hardware is fine), 2 factory resets, and several other troubleshooting with them. Yet, nothing helped. The support kept insisting that it's my phone that has that issue. However, I told them that the camera was working perfectly right before the update and that I can still use it using this: trough the torch->camera->10 sec wait (yet another prove that IOS is to blame.)

Nothing besides just keep contacting Apple customer service like I did until someone decides to fix the issue by replacing ya phone. Even give them the link to this thread and stay on them every week.

I think the iOS14 update damaged the some part of phone’s motherboard which is connected with phone camera because i have seen many customers are still facing camera problem even after camera part replacement(paid). As a software engineer the one thing i know is that the any new iOS update will not repair the damaged hardware again.

I was told on the phone to go into the Apple store or mail my phone in and they would replace it with a device that works and if it's still a 7+ issue they would upgrade me to a 8+

Camera solved using IOS Beta 14.2. Hoping that the mic issue will also solve in the next update. Cheers!

iOS 14.0.1 fixes this issue, but now Messages won't launch. 2 steps forward one giant leap backwards!

Update your phone it should fix you camera/flash issues the only thing yet I don know if it will fix the microphone issue
