iPhone X keeps freezing with new iOS 14 update. Will freeze in any app or even sitting idle and will go to black apple screen and restart. Factory reset did not fix it.

I called Apple Support and they told me to do a force restart. Shut down your phone. Wait a few minutes. The press volume up followed by volume down then power key and wait for Apple logo to appear. This resolved my issue and no app freezes since then.
Give it time, mine has resolved.
Mine resolved with the update. I was ready to throw my phone out the window. They fixed it reasonably quickly.
Come on Apple! Im ready to switch to Samsung unless you fix this!!!

Same here and I am disgusted and frustrated! My Apple watch randomly restarts all day too! Apple needs to fix this!!!

My iPhone XS Max has been glitching hard after the new update. Some of my apps won’t work. My phone blacks out or freezes and the touch is sometimes delayed or unresponsive.

My iPhone 11 and Apple Watch 3 were both freezing. That is no longer happening.
When I updated it gave me iOS 14.01 and it freezes numerous times a day. Driving me nuts. I’ve done a hard reboot. Still does it. Seriously?
