iPhone X keeps freezing with new iOS 14 update. Will freeze in any app or even sitting idle and will go to black apple screen and restart. Factory reset did not fix it.

I called Apple Support and they told me to do a force restart. Shut down your phone. Wait a few minutes. The press volume up followed by volume down then power key and wait for Apple logo to appear. This resolved my issue and no app freezes since then.
Since the latest I.O.S 14 update, my iPhone 11 max keeps freezing. This has not happened before, EVER. Anyone else having issues?

11 pro with ios14 freezing constantly. Sometimes screen unresponsive, sometimes black screen that persists.
Same thing I updated to 14.0.1 and when I try to reply to a message it just freeezes up! So annoying
After the latest update my messages aren’t working either
I’m on 14.0.1 too and it’s only my messages that are freezing when I try opening them up. Everything else seems fine
I am now on 14.0.1 as well and it is marginally better. Not facing constant freezing but it is still happening pretty frequently, regardless of what I am doing on the phone.
