iPhone X keeps freezing with new iOS 14 update. Will freeze in any app or even sitting idle and will go to black apple screen and restart. Factory reset did not fix it.

Pro Max keeps freezing for seconds... Did the restart for times won't fix it... And don't want to do a factory reset.... Hope gets the iOS 14.1 soon.... Shame on you, Apple, Shame on you.... I need iPhone 12...
Same problem started here right after iOS 14 update. Iphone 11, and so annoying! :(
My apps and messages keep freezing. This is so annoying and ridiculous DONT do the update!

ha! Ok well happy it went back to normal quickly. Patiently waiting for 14.2!
Read through the responses. Many have had the same issues. It may be that the phone is still updating ‘behind the scene’ because after a while, all worked perfectly. Good luck.

I am in the same boat with my iphone 11, and unfortunately but phone has completely stopped working after this update. very disappointing!
I have a iPh11Pro Max- it freezes often, and mainly the screen is half way between the 1st and the 2nd home page. Soft reset, and setting reset did not help. Phone was fine before ios14
It seems that all kind of issues are arising. I’m having strange battery issues that started last night. A full day after all was great! Oy!
My iPhone 11 Pro froze in Line, Costco and camera APPS yesterday and today. In al cases phone turned black - dead. Not sure how and when it came back to life each time.
Since the latest update (iso14) my iPhone 11 Pro keeps freezing up!! Please fix this!!!
Mine just froze up and stayed on. Off button didn’t work, so I stuck in the charge cable and it then switched off.
