iPhone X keeps freezing with new iOS 14 update. Will freeze in any app or even sitting idle and will go to black apple screen and restart. Factory reset did not fix it.

I called Apple Support and they told me to do a force restart. Shut down your phone. Wait a few minutes. The press volume up followed by volume down then power key and wait for Apple logo to appear. This resolved my issue and no app freezes since then.
I am in the same boat with my iphone 11, and unfortunately but phone has completely stopped working after this update. very disappointing!
It seems that all kind of issues are arising. I’m having strange battery issues that started last night. A full day after all was great! Oy!
My iPhone 11 Pro froze in Line, Costco and camera APPS yesterday and today. In al cases phone turned black - dead. Not sure how and when it came back to life each time.

Mine just froze up and stayed on. Off button didn’t work, so I stuck in the charge cable and it then switched off.

My iphone 11 hangs after iOS 14. It happens mostly with music app and Bluetooth on.
Lucky you. I tried that (I have an iMac desktop) but my computer doesn't even acknowledge that I hooked up the iPhone.

I’m having the same problem. My new iPhone 11 Pro Max, less than a month old, is freezing in all different apps I’m using. Very frustrating. Does anyone know if Apple plans on fixing this?
