iPhone X keeps freezing with new iOS 14 update. Will freeze in any app or even sitting idle and will go to black apple screen and restart. Factory reset did not fix it.

I called Apple Support and they told me to do a force restart. Shut down your phone. Wait a few minutes. The press volume up followed by volume down then power key and wait for Apple logo to appear. This resolved my issue and no app freezes since then.
Over the past week my iPhone 11 has been randomly turning off to a black screen and my apps has been freezing
Did you just update? Some of these updates are messing up phones. Try to reset I guess
Hi I am facing same issue start from new iPhone 12 pro . Restored factory setting few times same issue did u able get it solved ?
So 14.2 does not bring better outcome : non-apple apps still freezing. A real drag
iPhone XS unusable, Frozen for over 1/2 hour. Don’t update to 14.2!
Boy do I miss Steve Jobs!
This has been going on since I updated to 14. It was not just a temporary thing. It’s happening to my iPad also.
I currently have14.1 and I don’t have a notification for 14.2
I don’t have a notification for that for 14.2.
I totally agree and wished I hadn’t!! It’s horrible!! 14.2 does not fix the problem. Apple needs to fix this and fast!
yesterday I uploaded 14.2. I have removed any recent apps and the phone is still freezing. Sometimes in apps but even on the screen where you swipe to turn it off! I don’t know what else to do.
