My AirPod mic it’s not working properly after IOS 14 update on phone calls, WhatsApp calls and audio recordings.
i’d done resets of AirPod, forgot and sync again, everything I found on the web, therefore do not solve the situation.
I tried the AirPod on my MacBook and it’s working very good without any issues.
I have IOS 14.0.1 already and all apps updated.
Somebody know any solution?
I have the same issue with Airpods 2... Microphones stopped working on both headphones couple days ago.
Having the same issues with mic. How can we all get this problem resolved.
By waiting for new firmware update, that maybe will fix this BIG problem, as I've got it my self and it's very annoying
I’m having the same exact issue.
But in the app you suggested they ******* work perfectly.
So this is 100% a software issue.
Apple get on this.
If enough people voice their issue here then Apple developers will fix it in the next updates. So share this forum with those whom you know are struggling and ask them to talk about their issue here.
everyone should participate there to bring their attention into the matter... it’s so annoying...

The new firmware version didn’t fix it (at least for me).

Forget that chaps. I’ve read what there is and there’s no public knowledge yet of what the firmware update did to the AirPod 2’s.
