Blood Oxygen App Not Available in Cyprus

First you must call apple greece who are very helpful and polite.

You tell them the problem and in my case i have send all my iphone 11 pro max data that they requested and then they told me that blood oxygen is not working with Cyprus region .

I told them that i dont want the watch and i want my money back.

I was told to go to the istorm shop in Nicosia at a specific time and if they refuse to give me my money back then to send them an email and they would talk with istorm within 5-10 minutes.

Just updated to iOS 14.3 and watchOS 7.2 . Blood oxygen app is now working in CY.

My ECG app was already working, having been activated in the UK. It still works, but I can’t activate the new ECG, as it’s not supported in this region yet.

Ask for a refund and buy the SE or wait for the upgrade

having the same issue as well. Cyprus WAS indeed included in the region list for Blood Oxygen BUT now is not included.

Received iwatch 6 today from istorm and After set up blood oxygen app displays that is not available for cyprus .Apple web page shows cyprus included .Iam very upset because i bought this watch based that the blood oxygen is working in Cyprus.Tried to return the watch back the same day but istorm refused to accept it back.

Before paying for the watch the store manager assured me that blood oxygen app is working but not the ECG which was fine by me.NOW IAM THINKING THAT ISTORM IS SELLING PRODUCTS FROM OTHER REGIONS NOT SUPPORTED IN CYPRUS.

Istorm cyprus is advertising Online iwatch 6 with blood oxygen app.

If they do not provide it as per advertisement then its against the european consumer rights law where i will complain and probably they will pay heavy fines and force them to change the watches with compatibles to Cyprus market.

I was talking with Apple from Greece for 2 hours on the phone today and they advised that it should work but could not find a fix to the problem. they also advised that in some cases in Cyprus, after pairing the apple watch on the 2nd or 3rd time, the blood oxygen app and ECG sensors worked perfectly fine (obviously this did not work for my case). They still havent managed to find a solution to our problem.

ECG is not supported in Cyprus and we know that.I have spend several hours talking to Apple Greece and i have send all the analytics of my iphone and they try to find a solution.I have paired and unpaired my iwatch 6-7 times but it still doesnt work

I can confirm the problem. I have two watches, one bought in Cyprus (model MG123GK/A) and one bought in UK (model M09J3B/A), both models cannot activate not Blood Oxygen app nor ECG app (this is anticipated).

Will raise problem with Blood Oxygen app on Monday with Apple help desk.

I've the same problem. Somebody on another forum suggested I switch my UK iTunes account to CY and try again, matching my location to the iTunes store country. I'm reluctant to change stores, too messy imhao. Anybody else with this prob not on CY store?
