I just received my brand new Apple Watch 6 preorder, and although Cyprus is included in the list of regions where the app is supported, when I try to enable it I get a "Blood oxygen app is not available in your region." message.
Region settings are correct.

First you must call apple greece who are very helpful and polite.
You tell them the problem and in my case i have send all my iphone 11 pro max data that they requested and then they told me that blood oxygen is not working with Cyprus region .
I told them that i dont want the watch and i want my money back.
I was told to go to the istorm shop in Nicosia at a specific time and if they refuse to give me my money back then to send them an email and they would talk with istorm within 5-10 minutes.
Same with me, I bought it from Thinkd in Limassol an official reseller, spent 2.5 hours on the phone with Apple support, took them a week to come back to me, only to be told its not supported.
I would not have bought it if I knew that!
New firmware updates brought ECG function to Russia... but still no news for Cyprus for no one of significant functions - no ECG, no Heart Irregular Rhythm notifications... and no Blood Oxygen :(

Apple is pathetic, they are totally ignoring my emails now and they do not even have a reply on when it will be supported in Cyprus. I bought the apple watch beginning of October 2020, before Cyprus was removed from the supported countries.
For the people who bought the Apple watch before Cyprus was removed from the supported countries for the blood oxygen sensor, is there any way we can make a complaint together against Apple?
Its a disgrace, Not to mention its against the law what they are doing!! How can you advertise the blood oxygen that is being supported in cyprus when its not!! And yet couple of weeks later after having bought the bloody thing, Apple decided to remove the support from their website and they no longer mention cyprus within their supported countries!!!!!!!
Thanks! I have done what the youtube video says it has taken me 6 hours but know both of the apps ecg and blood oxygen it works. If anybody wants to do it should be very careful and do exactly what it is said in the video and read very carefully the description under the video
Both the watch yesterday iStorm Limassol, guy told me blood oxygen was activated in Cyprus few days ago, And that ECG doesn’t work.
updated both phone and watch to latest OS versions but blood oxygen still gives the same “not available in your region” thing.
Did the watch come from Cyprus or a country where it's not supported?,not all countries are.
If it wasn't bought through an official apple seller then it could have come from anywhere,there is also a website selling fake apple watches online.
Well, Cyprus is removed from the list of available regions now...
If you change your region to Greece (where blood oxygen is supported) would it worked? Also what is your product number? Is it maybe GW (kazakhstan)?
I think you can return it within 14 days:)
